My easy mini egg cake recipe

Hello lovelies! Sorry I’ve been a bit absent over the past week. Closing off at work for bank holiday was busy as was the weekend itself! Hope you all had a good one though and aren’t too hungover πŸ˜‰

As James went away for a couple of days at the weekend I decided it would be theΒ perfect time to bake.

I absolutely love baking and am always on the hunt for new recipes to try out…plus James loves tasting them for me, so it’s a win-win situation in our house.

I always head to Pinterest for inspiration

Pre-Berlin shenanigans

So before we set off to the beautiful Berlin it was a certain someones birthday πŸ™‚Β  to his dismay he’s another year older…

After gift giving and a superhero birthday cake with candles (no, you’re never too old haha), I was informed we would be heading somewhere as a surprise to get a Christmas tree! Me being me, I’m a total Christmas nut, I love Christmas. It truly is the best time of year, filled with so much love, happiness and fairy lights!

You can imagine my excitement when we arrived at a field full of tree’s that they chop down especially for you! I mean……a proper Christmas Tree farm! I was honestly like a child on Christmas Day that has just seen all their presents under the tree. So after being told and told the tree I loved was too big, we compromised, and got it anyway πŸ™‚ View Post

Six things I’m excited for before 2018

There are so many things I have to look forward to over the next couple of months in the run up to the end of another year. I’m actually feeling extremely blessed at the minute with life and what’s still to come!

Christians Cafe

Apologies for the absence recently, my life has been so busy it’s not even funny. That mixed with going on my first holiday in seven years next week means my minds all over the shop…..what with all the packing, washing and buying last minute bits still left to do *face palm*.

In the midst of all this a couple of my friends moved their incredible cafe & venue over to the small market town of Knaresborough and I couldn’t be happier for them both. View Post

The best bank holiday to date

So I don’t know about you all but I had one of the most awesome bank holiday’s ever. One which I will remember forever, for one reason more than any, two of my best friends got married! I couldn’t have been prouder than when I watched them tie the knot in a beautiful ceremony followed by a great party. View Post
