Welcome to my new blog mini-series! All about my new found love for all things interior.
I’m not going to lie, since we moved into our new home I’ve become a little bit obsessed with buying bits and pieces for every room. Now I know the big furniture and paint is important…..however, and I’m blaming my mother for this, I can’t seem to help buying the finishing touches before the furniture.
I wanted my first post not to be about the work we’re doing because quite frankly, at the moment the house is a tip and we have half a kitchen! I really wanted it to be about all the beautiful, cute and quirky bits I’ve found in some of my favourite stores. So grab a cup of coffee and read on for my current homeware crushes of the moment!
GC Naturals Pineapple Cilantro High Fragrance Sachet
I absolutely adore this pineapple smelly! I picked it up at my local TK Maxx & Homesense. The colours go beautifully with the look and feel that I’m wanting for my office space and it makes the room smell incredible! Plus for the bargain price of £6.99 I wasn’t going to say no now was I 🙂 It’s such a great little accessory to have too as I’ve used it in a couple of my blog shots, it photographs so well.
Dark Amber Air Freshener Sticks
Probably one of the best smelling things I have ever bought in my life! I picked this up last year and I can’t wait to get another one as I need to refill mine, but it’s absolutely gorgeous so I couldn’t leave it out. The Zara air freshener sticks are fab and they last for such a long time. They stock tonnes of other scents such as black vanilla and ginger lily that I cannot wait to try! I’ll definitely be buying these bad boys for as long as they sell them. Oh and I also picked up the little stunning little home fragrance plate for it to sit on, it really does finish it off.
Llama and Unicorn Tea & Coffee Caddy’s
I’m so upset that I can’t share a link for these with you! I picked these up at TK Maxx too (#favourite shop or what). Unfortunately, they don’t stock them on the website so I guess the only advice to offer is to hunt them down haha. I don’t actually use these for tea or coffee but as stationary pots and makeup brush holders for my desk instead. They look super cute plus when the light pours through my office window, the detailing on the front really catches the light.
Copper Pressed Photo Frame
I don’t know if you’ve been on my Instagram but if you have, you’ll know I love rose gold and copper. There was a lonely little spot on my desk that needed filling so I thought what better than to pop a cute photo of my gorgeous other half on there. The plan is for the office to have a deep navy blue feature wall and the rest painted in white. Whilst I was trawling Pinterest I saw so many photos of copper with navy, hence the start of the many copper accessories. It’s such a fab way to add a bit of colour to my desk 🙂
Oliver Bonas Gin & Tonic Travel Candle
Definitely sure that I have an Oliver Bonas obsession. I bought their gin & tonic candle purely for my flatlays originally, but then I lit it. Oh my goodness, it smells gorgeous! I was so pleasantly surprised, it wasn’t something I genuinely thought was going to smell nice but it really does. It’s super relaxing when I’m working away on my blog to have it flickering away next to me. I’d definitely recommend grabbing one, and if you’re quick, they’re in the sale! 😉
Photo Wall Photos
When I was planning my office I decided I’d love to have some really girly (but still chic) photos on one of the walls, kind of like a feature photo wall. A month or so ago, they had three of the coolest pictures in. They have some really fab images of stylish looking women with some awesome little sayings underneath! This one is my favourite 🙂 hopefully the photos will look fab on the wall.
