Finishing off our bedroom
It’s taken us a while to decide on exactly the prints we wanted in our bedroom. Originally we were going for a ski lodge inspired theme, but we couldn’t quite find the artwork we wanted. Although I probably could have designed something myself, we were over the moon when we spotted these Harry Potter inspired posters in their collection!
As a big fan of neutral frames, I thought I’d go a little different and try out their dark mahogany frames. I’m so glad I did! They suit our space so well and add a little bit of depth to our rooms. For this house we wanted to paint and decorate it in quite neutral tones. Although it looks great and I’m super happy, it does mean that without anything like plants or artwork it lacks a little bit of colour. These dark frames and slightly coloured prints work perfectly. The next and probably final addition to our bedroom will probably be a couple of plants to add a pop of green to the space.
Nature in the living room
Having introduced plants to our space not that long ago, I knew immediately that we needed some nature inspired artwork to complete the space. We had a really odd little corner that was crying out for a couple of prints. Thankfully, Poster Store had some eucalyptus posters in their collection, and teamed with the dark frames they look amazing. They sit effortlessly with our lamp and pretty much match the colour too. They finished that small area off and now I don’t feel as though it looks blank and unfinished haha!
