Dressing Up With Femme Luxe Finery

I’ve been meaning to update my wardrobe for a while now – after all I find myself living in gym gear for the majority of my week! So, when the lovely people at Femme Luxe Finery reached out, I was over the moon to be able to try on some new styles to shake up my clothing collection.

With everything and anything from jeans and trousers to going out dresses and oversized jumpers, there’s something for everyone and every style in their range online.

*These clothes were gifted, but all opinions remain my own*

The Oversized Dress

I am a sucker for a good, oversized anything…so when I saw this dress I knew I had to try it. Let me tell you something…I’m soooooooo glad I did!

Not only is the colour super pretty, but it fits incredibly well too. The tight cuffs on the sleeves makes them ever so slightly ballooned, which I think finishes the Khaki Oversized Sweater Mini Dress off really nicely.

The hemline at the bottom is also beaut – it’s curved at the front and back and comes up ever so slightly on each side; you could easily wear this out and about with no tights and feel safe in the knowledge that your underwear wouldn’t be on show. Although, when I wore this to town, I popped on a pair of my black gym shorts as it was windy, and you never saw them 🙂 BONUS

The soft material means I want to wear it literally every day – dress it up with a pair of black boots, or dress it down with a pair of white sneakers and a backpack.

Hand on heart, this piece was by far my favourite and I’m sure will become one of my most worn dresses. It may even be my airport outfit when we head to the South of France in Feb for a cheeky lil adventure 😉 (watch this space folks!).

The Loungewear Set

Now, I have to admit, this one surprised me! I’m still not 100% confident in wearing cropped tops – be those jumpers or tees – but I love this Khaki Crop Loungewear Set. Not only is it super soft and made from a slightly slinky material, but it’s also incredibly flattering.

You can team with heels for a super luxe look, or dress it down with a pair of white pumps for heading into town. I’ll definitely be spending my down days chilling in this set.

The Knitted Dresses

Classic, stylish and pretty timeless – a good knitted dress can see you from the office straight to drinks. These two from Femme Luxe are no exception. They’re short, yes, but with a good pair of tights (or if you’re more confident than I am) they make amazing dresses – plus, they’re super soft!

I’m not even kidding when I say I was genuinely blown away by the quality and softness of all the outfits I received – with any new brand you try online, you can never really be sure.

I picked up these knitted dresses in both grey and stone, as both colours go with pretty much everything I own. When I was testing the two out I teamed the Grey High Neck Bodycon Jumper Dress with a pair of knee high black leather boots – the perfect outfit for brunch with the girls or even cocktails in town!

For the Stone High Neck Bodycon Jumper Dress, I thought a pair of thin black tights and ankle boots with fluffy cuffs created the perfect, “heading-to-town-for-lunch” outfit for these cold wintery days.

I promised myself this year that I’d try and be a little bit more adventurous with what I wear. Unfortunately, one of the downsides to being in the fitness world, is that it can sometimes be difficult to step away from the oh-so-comfy world of gym leggings and a hoody!

Alas here I am…donning an oversized dress with knee high boots and actually feeling confident for a change. Shocking, I know.

On another note, a huge thank you to Femme Luxe for gifting me these beautiful clothes. So looking forward to taking them out for another spin in the near future…keep your eyes peeled for them over on my Instagram.

What pieces do you guys think you’ll be grabbing from the collection?
