There are so many things I have to look forward to over the next couple of months in the run up to the end of another year. I’m actually feeling extremely blessed at the minute with life and what’s still to come!
Yes you heard it right. Well not my first holiday, my first hot summer holiday. Yes it was a very long time ago that I ventured somewhere and actually came back with a tan, due to certain people in my past which I won’t go into.
After deciding on a location, booking it and counting down for what seemed the longest amount of time I’ve ever had to wait in my entire life, we were off! Albeit not with a problem beforehand. Hotels.com emailed to say our original hotel had overbooked and our room was no longer available. Not what I needed as I was running a wedding in Surrey the night before we were due to fly! We were assured though that they had sorted alternative accommodation so……we were off! View Post
So I don’t know about you all but I had one of the most awesome bank holiday’s ever. One which I will remember forever, for one reason more than any, two of my best friends got married! I couldn’t have been prouder than when I watched them tie the knot in a beautiful ceremony followed by a great party. View Post
Now I know I’m a handful of years off yet but I was sat thinking about this today. Cast your mind back to your 10-year-old self’s daydreams about your 21st birthday. Maybe you were convinced you would be living it up at your dream university, learning by day and partying by night. Perhaps you fancied yourself a world traveler, backpacking across Europe and spending your days sipping wine with the world’s most fascinating people. View Post
FACT: Most of us will spend a large proportion of our adult lives at work, especially now that many of us are retiring at a much later age (retirement seems so far away *sobs*).
Since work takes up such a large part of our time during our lives, it makes sense that we should work hard to build friendships with our work colleagues. One key contributor to being happy at work is having friends there, but that doesn’t just make it more fun – studies suggest it actually helps productivity and creativity! View Post
