Oh….my….days…..it has been a hot minute since I last blogged and updated you guys on what on earth is happening in my life! If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know how busy things have been; plus, if you watch my vlogs you’ll be able to see it too…
So, where to start! Well as you may or may not know I got engaged over the summer *thunderous applause*. I know I know…..someone actually wants to marry me 😉
A couple of months ago we held our engagement party at my parents house. It was one of the most incredible and surreal days that has happened in my life to-date. What an absolute blessing it was to have all of our family and friends there to share it with us. We literally cannot wait for the big day now!
Ding dong the bells are gonna chime
On that note, the wedding planning is going really well. Not that long ago we had our menu tasting, and the week following that we had our cake tasting. I don’t think I’ve ever tried so much food in such a short space of time, but I have no regrets…
We’ve pretty much got a lot of the big things planned and deposits paid. Venue, catering, alcohol, flowers, hair, makeup, my dress….eeeeek! I’ll be covering some of the wedding bits off in a vlog coming soon, so make sure you’re subscribed to my channel so you don’t miss it.
My ambassadorship
As many of you know, I’m an ambassador for the incredible Tone & Sculpt App, founded by the beautiful Krissy Cela. We’ve been up to some amazing stuff, as have the team down in London. Recently I ventured down to the capital for a video and photoshoot and it was awesome to see the rest of the team again. It feels like forever in between seeing the fellow ambassadors which is super hard as we’re very much a familia!
Nevertheless we always have such a good laugh together. If you’re not a member of the app, I would definitely recommend it! HUGE things are coming in January and I cannot wait to share them with you all.
What about life?
Where on earth do I start! So my full time job is going amazingly and I love every second of it. My boss is a legend and the team are incredible. I’ve learnt an unbelievable amount since I started and I cannot wait to see how my skills develop and I grow in the future.
I’ve taken on a number of freelance clients to help towards the wedding fund. It’s amazing and it’s given me such an incredible sense of “female bossness” since I started 🙂 It also allows me to delve much more into the ins and the outs of social media.
I launched my own PODCAST! Ahhhhh this is super exciting and I feel like a mother ha. But seriously, launching my podcast “Is This Thing On?” has felt like so long in the making. It’s honestly been such an amazing experience and has allowed me to expand on my creativity skills. We’re about halfway through season one and I cannot thank those of you who have listened so far enough. It really does mean so much. You can go check out the podcast here.
To be honest, I think that’s about it. My sister has gone off to Australia, we’re visiting London this weekend to try on wedding bands, we’re all winding down for Christmas, and I’m planning my goals for 2020. It’s a pretty exciting time with so many things to come!
