My glam box – Is it worth it?

Hello beauties! I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the weather stays as good as it has been recently. I don’t know about you but I’m so ready for the sunshine to last longer than a day πŸ™‚

I’ve been super excited to write about this for a while now as I’ve now had my second box.

I’ve never been one to want to have a monthly subscription box. If I’m totally honest I’ve never seen the point in them or their worth. That was until I discovered My Glam Box. I was going to write about the first box but wanted to wait until I’d had my second one too. It wasn’t that the first one wasn’t amazing, because it was, I wanted to make sure it wasn’t a fluke πŸ˜‰

My glam box - Is it worth it?
Now I’m not a makeup artist by any means but I know the value of having a good makeup collection (thanks to my mother). My Glam Box isn’t like any other subscription box. It is the FIRST and ONLY makeup artist recommended discovery platform in the UK. Every month, they deliver makeup artist recommended, hand-picked makeup and skin prep products straight to your doorstep! Talk about a super easy way to get good quality products. For only £15 (+P&P) a month, you receive a box of makeup worth anywhere between £40-£100.

Each box is very different and so far has been based around current makeup trends and colours. March’s launch box was a limited edition Gold and Nude box which was lush to say the least! The box was jam-packed with lashes, eye glitter, lip scrub, eyeshadow, a lip pencil and a premium liquid lipstick. I’m not going to lie, I wear the lip pencil and lipstick literally every day! It has officially become my go-to shade.

I absolutely love it because not all of the products are sample size either! With each box, you can expect between 3-5 full size products with a pair of eyelashes every month.

So what was in April’s box I hear you ask?

My Glam Box - Lipgloss

Hebe Cosmetics Lip Gloss

This colour is absolutely perfect for spring and summer! I can guarantee a colour like this will become a staple in most girls makeup collections. It’s super versatile and goes with so many of my day-to-day outfits, and also my “heading out for drinks with the girls” outfits too! I can’t wait to rock this shade some more when the sun eventually comes back out.

My glam box - Lashes

Mollie Cosmetics Eye Lashes

I’ve never personally been one to wear fake eyelashes as I’m fortunate enough that mine are quite long anyway, plus I’ve tried and I always look like a right t*t trying to put them on! If I was going to pick a pair to wear though, these Mollie ones are such good quality. They feel super soft and are so fluffy, and at an RRP of £5-£10, you really can’t go wrong!

My glam box - Glitter

The BeBeautiful Studio Eye Pigments

Not only did I get one pot….but I got a second of these stunning eye pigments from BeBeautiful! OK guys, I cannot begin to even tell you how incredible these look on. They’re super easy to apply and really add a whole other dimension to your eye makeup. I’m so sad that this is the last time we’ll get them in our boxes, but as soon as I run out, I’m heading to buy some more!

My glam box - foundation brush

Plush Brush Foundation Brush

So by having plush in your name, we’d have to assume that the brush is super soft right? Oh my days, so right! This gorgeous little foundation brush is so soft and makes applying my foundation so damn easy. Another bonus is that its so dinky and compact, it fits perfectly into my makeup bag in case I need to take it with me anywhere.

My glam box - 3d glitter

Eyeconic Makeup 3D Eye Glitter

If you ever need a truly stand out, “here I am” type glitter, then Eyeconic have you covered. I am totally in love with their rose gold glitter, and it’s also vegan and cruelty-free! Not only can it be used on your eyes, but also on your face and body, for that ultimate festive vibe.

My Glam Box - sweets

K Rose B Cosmetics Pressed Diamonds

One of my faves and the only one I totally forgot to get a photo of! Top photo in the little black packaging *facepalm*. The K Rose B Cosmetics are unbelievably pigmented and comes in a 36mm pan, which is bigger than the industry standard size. It’s super easy to apply with either your finger or a slightly wet brush for the ultimate intensity!

Not only did I get all of these gorgeous products, but My Glam Box also sent some cute love hearts! Oh my god….yes please….hello sugar addict over here πŸ™‚

Make sure you’re following me on Instagram as I’ll be posting stories when I wear some of the products over the weekend.

Do you subscribe to any beauty boxes? Do you find them worth it?

I did wonder about this one but wasn’t sure as I hadn’t heard much about it! I tried Birchbox and liked it but it was too pricey for me! Might try this one instead πŸ€”
