Since James and I have moved into our new home, staying in has definitely become the new going out! I honestly don’t think it’s 100% down to money either, but (at the moment anyway) we actually still like spending time with each other. Shock and awe I know! 😉
Millennials have the most debt of any group of university graduates, like, ever, with some never being able to get a job they trained for. At the same time, we were the first generation to all grow up with computers in our homes and no one knows their way around an iPhone and quirky new technology better than us.
According to some, because of this fact, it is said that a lot of millennials don’t actually know how to socialise and interact with people…I call bullsh*t. People of my age and as young as my brother, know how to socialise so well! My brother at 19, has a bloody better social life than I ever did.
So when I decided to begin overhauling my morning routine, I told myself that doing some form of exercise would be great, and it would help to get me ready for the day. I’m not going to lie, I doubted this thought to begin with.
That was until I discovered yoga.
Let me tell you I’m so glad I’ve found yoga, not for just the physical benefits, but also for the mental and emotional benefits too.
Now, honestly, yoga won’t be for everyone and it’s a slow process to get into it. To finally feel like you don’t look like a complete banana with your leg kicked in the air or your arms wrapped around your body. If I’d had started doing yoga in front of the mirror, let me tell you, I wouldn’t have gotten past day one!
I feel like this is going to be a bit of a controversial blog. I’d like to say I’m sorry in advance but I’m not going to. Why? Because this is a personal post. I’m not saying don’t go to university if you want to, but put simply, this is why I’m thankful I didn’t.
Just about everywhere you go, people tell you “Go to Uni! Get a degree! It’s worth it!”
Side note, you don’t need to listen to them! It’s not worth it. At least it wasn’t for me.
Hey lovelies! It’s nearly spring and I literally cannot wait for a bit of damn sunshine. I love snow, but I’m totally over it after being snowed in for three days so far this year. With spring and summer on the horizon, I thought it was time to finally buy myself a highlighter. As someone whose only begun to take her makeup seriously over the past year or so (shameful I know!), I’ve been told that it should be a staple in anyone’s collection. I have to admit, I now agree!
Using a highlighter has always terrified me! I dread the day I walk out of the house looking like a frickin’ disco ball!
Hello my lovelies! Sorry for the brief hiatus on the blog, my life has become so incredibly busy it’s unreal and I kinda feel like I’m drowning but hey ho, we push on! The only saving grace I suppose is that overhauling my morning routine is working and allowing me extra time in my day.
A while back I posted on my Twitter that I was going to do my first ever Q&A and got some fantastic questions! Super thrilled, so a huge thank you for those who slid into my DM’s 😉
