Since the beginning of December I’ve really started to put 110% effort into my blogging. I’ve noticed a small increase in following and it’s really ignited my passion and love for writing and blogging again. I definitely need to up my game a bit more so that it’s something I can be truly proud of 🙂 fingers crossed I can do it! Here’s what I plan to do…
Building a content calendar
So at the moment this is something I do loosely. Working in marketing & content creation I should know better really! Having the past in wedding planning that I do, scheduling and planning is in my blood.
I’m going to start this post off by saying I do not profess to be a relationship expert. Not by any means. However I’d like to think I’ve been through enough in my past relationships to know a thing or two about them.
It started around the age of 17, I’d met a guy, he seemed amazing. He was older than me, seemed charming and all the rest. All the things a naive teenager looks for I suppose. If I could go back and coach my past self through this, things would be so much different. I was sucked into a world-wind romance, one where I abandoned all my family and friends, moved away from home and completely secluded myself from the life I knew.
2017 saw me buy my first home. This meant it was time to spend spend spend on tonnes of gorgeous bits and pieces! I’m a real home decor junkie. I love buying cute little bits to liven up a room. Even down to the kitchen! Now if you’ve ever moved in with your partner you’ll know it can be difficult sometimes if you have totally different tastes, however I’ve been very lucky. Both my other half and I have very similar styles when it comes to the home. We wanted ours to feel warm and welcoming whilst also still being quite stylish (I’ll let you be the judge of that!). I’ve also spent the year building up my makeup collection a bit more…well I say a bit more, my drawer is now overflowing and I’m going to need to invest in some proper makeup storage for once! Can anyone recommend any?
Here’s a few of my favourite bits!
This year has taught me a lot, like a ridiculous amount. It’s been a year of learning, love, loss and lessons. With the year coming to a close soon, despite it feeling as though it’s flown by, I thought I’d write down for you all some of the things I’ve learned this year.
So I thought it may be quite nice to share with all of you (probably all five of you who read my ramblings 😉 ) my run up to Christmas must haves! For me there are always a good few essentials that I need to have to start getting me in the festive spirit…not that it takes much.
Fairy lights are like my number one thing I have to have around the house! I feel like they add so much festivity to a home. They’re super cute and really not that expensive at all. I tend to buy all of my fairy lights from Lights4Fun as they offer really good quality lights and not at a bad price either. View Post
